Over the past two years, NEPON (Thailand) has been experimenting with strawberry growing in tropical areas. The experiment area was planted in Rayong, Thailand, where the daytime temperature was almost 40 degrees celsius. It is not easy to grow winter fruits like a strawberry.

We have experimented and developed a variety of strawberries and others fruits, both local and foreign varieties. To get the best productivity is both quality and quantity by our equipment & knowhow of NEPON. So we can keep productive throughout the year. In order to achieve the condition of the growth of strawberry by using our company’s knowledge and technology as well. That is our company’s first success, which has been well received by our customers. So we have a plan to expand our business with a project to do agricultural tourism, with joint venture with Yushi Group and incorporated as Yushi NEPON. R & D relocation in Rayong to Bangkok, which is located in the area of the Yushi Group (Ramintra), so as to facilitate easy, convenient for customers who are interested our business. By starting R & D Farm in May, it is expected to be completed by the end of June.

The processing time is approximately 60 days. We hope that our project can transfer Japanese technology to Thailand farmers to increase quality yield and quality of life and support Thailand agricultural industry to produce high quality foods and promote Thailand to become the worldwide quality food producer.”
